Merry Christmas Everyone! Utah Paragliding has partnered with the United Way to sponsor a local family via a sub for Santa program. This family is a single working mother with 4 children ages: 11, 13, 15, and 17. Their needs are pretty basic. If anyone would like to help out please contact Jonathan @ 801-368-5139 or via facebook or email, jonathan@utahparagliding.com or just drop it by. 2012 Season underway!

Typical Spring weather has us grounded more often than not, especially this week. I would deem this week the worst week ever for trying to learn to paraglide! With 2 big dry cold fronts barrelling through it has been extra windy or windy from the wrong direction most of the time. HOWEVER, we have had a decent spring so far. Travis, Stan and Glenn have all joined the ranks of Utah Paragliding graduates and P-2 pilots. We did a very successful field trip to Randolph and flew the Crawfords. I think we had about 15 Utah Paragliding grads in the air! Also, we did a nice trip to West Mountain last week that went well. Whoops...  Long time no blog! Lots of down time waiting for good wind this year. You'd think I'd have tons of time to blog. But all my spare time is sucked up sewing paraglider stuff bags for the newly aquired Critter Mountain Wear business. It has been fun to take feed back from the graduates and implement it into new more comfortable designs. Making it more comfy to lug your gear back up the hill after sinking out.
