Welcome To Utah Paragliding
Welcome to the sky! From your first flights on the bunny hill to your long cross country flights, we are here to guide you. Safety is synonymous with fun as we progress from skill to skill. Most people usually take about 10-15 lessons to get certified as a P-2 pilot. We train in the mornings and afternoons for the first and last 3 hours of the day. That is when the air is the smoothest. The first lessons are at the Point of the Mountain flight parks, and the advanced lessons take us to other locations around the state. You will be surprised at how amazing
this sport is! Soaring over deer and elk at Strawberry reservoir or sharing the thermals with eagles above Utah Valley will change your life. Once you have your certification finished, the sky is the limit and you will be able to fly at the Point of the Mountain on your own. However, there are many more wonderful places to fly besides "The Point" and Utah Paragliding can take you there! Whether you want to learn to hike up your favorite mountain and fly back down, or soar effortlessly for hours over the Salt Lake Valley, let us unlock the sky for you. Come fly with us!
